Indian actress Freida Pinto
gave American audiences
a treat when she danced
across the stage in an
impromptu Bollywood-inspired
performance on U.S. TV,

The Slumdog Millionaire star, 24,
appeared on the Late Late Show
with Craig Ferguson on
Wednesday (28Jan09), when she
got the Irish-American host out
of his seat for a quick lesson.

And Pinto admitted she’d already
made director Danny Boyle a fan of
the elaborate Indian productions
after working with him on the
Oscar-nominated film.

Counting as she showed
Ferguson how to move,
she said,
“We have a little bit of dance
at the end of the film,
but I’d like to teach you
some moves.
This is Danny Boyle’s favourite.”
